The next federal election will be fought under different riding boundaries. In Kildonan—St. Paul a significant amount of the Rural Municipality of Springfield will now be part of the riding including Oakbank. Our southernmost border is also expanding further into Winnipeg, past Rossmere Golf and Country Club to Roberta Avenue.

The next federal election will be fought under different riding boundaries. Using data collected in the census, non-partisan electoral boundaries commissions in each province made adjustments to the boundaries of existing electoral districts.
Kildonan—St. Paul will see some changes to its boundaries in the next election to reflect shifts in our community’s population. A significant amount of the Rural Municipality of Springfield will now be part of Kildonan–St. Paul, including Oakbank. The southernmost border is also expanding further into Winnipeg, past Rossmere Golf and Country Club to Roberta Avenue.
These new boundaries do not take effect until the next federal election is called. The next federal election can be any time between now and the fixed election date in late October of 2025.
