Raquel has been tapped as the Conservative Party’s lead spokesperson on defending law-abiding firearms owners. Her work on this file helped force the Liberal government to back down on the most ridiculous parts of their plan to ban several types of hunting rifles. Raquel is a passionate advocate for her constituents and was recognized as Ottawa’s Favourite Up-and-Comer by her Parliamentary colleagues in the annual Hill Times feature.
